On December 31, 2019, a servant of God Valery Karakolev has reposed in the Lord. A pious man of deep faith, he was a parishioner of the Holy Trinity Church in Astoria, NY. Valery was seriously ill for several years. The Lord called him to a place, “where there is neither pain, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life unending”.
Valery left behind his dear, devoted wife Natalia and three young boys: John, Zachariah and Panteleimon. An orphaned family is going through difficult times; over the past two years of illness all their savings went to Valery’s treatment.
Let’s support this young family as much as we can during this Christmas time. Remember the newly departed servant of God Valery in your prayers!
